University Behavioral Health sponsors the Minirth Christian Program - a Faith Based Mental Health & Chemical Dependency program.

The Minirth Christian Program is a place where people can receive guidance to look toward their faith in God as they seek healing in their life.

The program merges sound professional counseling with Biblical principles to provide a Christian based counseling program.

At Minirth we believe in the treatment of the whole person: spirit, soul and body. We provide treatment and skills training which teach the patient to take responsibility for all three of these vital areas with balance.

Common issues that we minister to include but are not limited to the following:

• Suicidal thoughts/feelings,
• rage and or dangerous behavior,
• anxiety/panic attacks,
• schizophrenia,
• depression,
• hallucinations/delusional thinking,
• phobias,
• bipolar disorder,
• addiction and abuse issues.

Call the UBH Care Center
The UBH Care Center accepts referrals, inquiries, and information calls 24 hours seven days per week. Qualified Mental Health Professionals answer the Care Center Line and will provide free initial assessments to determine the most appropriate level of care that may help individuals with mental health and/ or chemical dependency problems. When indicated, licensed psychiatrists will determine when hospitalization is required. Call 888-789-HOPE (4673).
