UBH Overview of Services

Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit is a secured and safe inpatient environment for individuals in serious mental health crisis that provides intensive supervision and support to patients. Patients follow a structured schedule of therapeutic groups, activities, and education sessions.

Partial Hospitalization Program provides an intensive structured outpatient alternative to inpatient hospitalization. The program is for individuals who do not require 24-hour care.

Intensive Outpatient Program is a less intensive three days per week outpatient program designed for individuals that do not require inpatient admission. These individuals need a structured, intensive, individually tailored opportunity to strengthen their daily functioning.

The UBH Care Center accepts referrals, inquiries, and information calls 24 hours 7 days per week. Qualified Mental Health Professionals answer the Care Center Line and provide free initial assessments to determine the most appropriate level of care that may help individuals. When indicated, licensed psychiatrists will determine when hospitalization is required. Confidential assessments and referral information provided at no charge.
